Following a jury trial, defendant, Eugene Krogh, was convicted of the delivery of a controlled substance (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1979, ch. 56 1/2, par. 1401(a)(2)) and sentenced to the Illinois Department of Corrections for a period of six years. A codefendant who was tried in a bench trial begun simultaneously with defendant's jury trial...
