Defendant Southern brings forth six assignments of error concerning the trial judge's ruling on numerous motions, instructions to the jury, and the private conference with the jurors outside the presence of counsel after the jury verdict was rendered. We have examined each of the assignments and conclude the trial judge committed error in failing to instruct the jury concerning the taxable status of plaintiff's award.
