This case is the latest in a series in this Court challenging criminal convictions based on alleged discrimination in the selection of grand jury forepersons. Defendant Sneed was indicted by a grand jury empaneled by Judge Robert L. Vining on sixteen counts of embezzlement, mail fraud, and removal of property to prevent seizure, in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 656, 1341, and 2232. Sneed filed a timely motion to dismiss the indictment...
