Leo Edwards was convicted of the capital murder of Lindsey Don Dixon which was committed during the robbery of the convenience store at which Dixon was working at the time. Edwards was indicted along with Mikel Leroy White. White pled guilty to the lesser offense of murder and was sentenced to life imprisonment.
