In support of their motion, the defendants contend that the defendant, The Topeka Club, Inc., is "a bona fide private club" within the meaning of 42 U.S.C. § 2000e(b)(2), and, therefore, that the defendants are excluded from the scope of 42 U.S.C. § 1981.
