Thomas Jeffery Tackett was found guilty by a jury of the crimes of manslaughter and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident. He was sentenced to a term of eight years in the Department of Correction on the charge of manslaughter and was fined $10,000 on the charge of leaving the scene of a personal injury accident. He appeals only from the conviction of manslaughter contending that the evidence was not sufficient to support the conviction...
