This action arises out of the shooting of the plaintiff, Walter Ramos, Jr., by defendant Boston Police Officer Robert Gallo. Ramos brings claims under 42 U.S.C. §§ 1981, 1983, 1985, and 1986, and the Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Eighth, and Fourteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution, together with pendent state law claims.
