This declaratory judgment suit arises out of the death claim filed by the plaintiff for the proceeds of a group life insurance policy held by the defendant on her deceased husband. Plaintiff is an Alabama resident. Defendant, a New York based corporation, provides insurance on the lives of employees of United States Steel Corporation (USS).
