The defendant, Richard E. Cooke, appeals from a Superior Court jury conviction on a two-count indictment for first-degree arson and attempted larceny. He was sentenced to the Adult Correctional Institutions for ten years on the arson count. The court ordered him to serve the first three years of his sentence. It suspended the remaining seven years and placed him on probation. The court also sentenced him to three years on the attempted...
