White was convicted of armed robbery (D.C.Code §§ 22-2901, -3202 (1981)), kidnapping while armed (D.C.Code §§ 22-2101, -3202 (1981)), rape while armed (D.C. Code §§ 22-2801, -3202 (1981)), unauthorized use of a vehicle (D.C.Code § 22-2204 (1981)), and carrying a pistol without a license (D.C.Code § 22-3204 (1981)).
