This petition for a writ of habeas corpus, 28 U.S.C. § 2254, is before the court on the motion for summary judgment of respondents Michael Lane and Richard DeRobertis. Petitioner Hillis C. Goodman, Jr. is an inmate at Stateville Correctional Center where he is serving terms of 25 years for murder and 15 years for armed robbery.
