An elementary school teacher, Ramona Pierce, claims that she was improperly dismissed from her employment. The Fair Dismissal Appeals Board (FDAB), which is the body charged with handling appeals from teacher dismissals, ORS 342.905, found that Pierce had resigned and therefore had not been dismissed from her employment.
