Defendant, Checker Motors Corporation ("Checker"), moves herein to strike plaintiff's demand for a jury trial and appeals from two rulings by Magistrate Bernikow regarding the extension of the September 30, 1982 discovery cutoff date. Defendant, General Motors Corporation ("GM"), moves herein for summary judgment. I will consider and determine each of these motions and Checker's appeal separately...
