Defendant Motorland Insurance Company appeals as of right from a judgment against it pursuant to the Uniform Trade Practices Act, MCL 500.2001 et seq.; MSA 24.12001 et seq.

Plaintiff Medley was injured in an automobile collision on October 24, 1977. Defendant William Canady reported the collision to defendant Motorland on November 14, 1977. Plaintiff filed suit on December 9, 1977, but did not serve Canady until May 5, 1978....
