On May 27, 1973, Lloyd Adams, driving a tractor-trailer owned by him and operating under the ICC permit of L & B Express Company (now George Parr Trucking Service, Inc.) crossed to the wrong side of the highway and collided head on with a vehicle operated by Roy Davis, injuring him and two other passengers and killing Lydia Harris.
