Defendant Jimmy L. Gettings appeals from his conviction and sentence on three counts of perjury which followed his trial by jury in the circuit court of Tazewell County.

This cause had its origin in defendant's failure to pay sheriff's fees for two small-claims actions. The State's Attorney of Tazewell brought suits to recover amounts of $50 and $38, respectively, plus costs, and...
