THIS CAUSE is before the court to determine whether the laws of the Republic of Haiti are applicable to the present action. This is an action by plaintiff, CITIBANK, N.A. ("Citibank"), against defendants, ANDREW BENKOCZY AND GERALDINE BENKOCZY ("Benkoczys"), to recover the principal amount of $130,000 together with interest, costs and attorneys fees based on the Benkoczys' guarantees of the obligations of International Fabricating Industries...
