This appeal is brought by the father of a minor child from a modified custody decree.

The parties were divorced in Tucson, Arizona, in November 1976, with custody of their fifteen-month-old daughter being awarded to the father. Shortly after the divorce, father and daughter moved to New Jersey to live with his parents.
