HOWE, Justice:

This is an appeal from a judgment in a defamation action in which plaintiff alleged libel in a television broadcast aired by defendant. The jury returned a special verdict finding that the broadcast was false in one or more material respects, but that the defendant did not act with malice. Judgment was entered in favor of the defendant and plaintiff seeks reversal and retrial.
