This is an action to review a final decision of the Secretary of Health and Human Services (the "Secretary") denying plaintiff's application for disability insurance benefits and supplemental security income. See 42 U.S.C. § 416(i), § 423, § 1381 et seq. After a hearing held on July 8, 1981, the Administrative Law Judge ("ALJ") affirmed the initial administrative denial of plaintiff's applications....
