Before the court are defendant's motion to dismiss plaintiff's complaint for failure to state a cause of action, and plaintiff's reply thereto. The facts of the case are uncontroverted. Plaintiff was hired by defendant twenty-eight years ago and had an unblemished employment record, having worked his way up through the ranks to the position of foreman.
