PER CURIAM.

Defendant appeals as of right from his conviction, following a bench trial, of second-degree murder in the death of his 28-month-old daughter Sarah on April 30, 1981. Defendant was sentenced to a term of 15 to 30 years.

Robin D'Amato, the child's mother and defendant's girlfriend, testified that when she gave a statement to the Fraser Police Department regarding the events leading to the death she was told by the police that she would not be charged...
