On 22 March 1983, the Court entered a judgment dismissing the indictment in this case. This opinion states the reasons for the dismissal.

In a ten count indictment, the defendants were charged with mail fraud in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 1341, 3237. The indictment alleged that defendants intended to devise and did devise a scheme and artifice to defraud persons through the sale of memberships...
