BRONSON, J.
Plaintiffs commenced this defamation action on September 17, 1980, in the Wayne County Circuit Court. On March 6, 1981, the circuit court granted defendant's motion for summary judgment on the basis that there existed no genuine issue as to any material fact and holding that defendant's statements were entitled to an absolute privilege.
