Harriet K. Nelson, a protected person, and her husband, Dr. Kenneth R. Nelson, now deceased, held certain securities and accounts in joint tenancy with the right of survivorship. Before his death and after having petitioned for letters of conservatorship of his wife's estate, Dr. Nelson transferred the jointly held securities and accounts to his separate name.
