Gynan seeks to recover from the defendant corporation (Jeep) and other defendants for injuries received on April 9, 1977. He, while crossing a street, was struck by a Jeep CJ5 (the CJ5), manufactured by Jeep and sold or distributed by the other defendants. In a prior action, Gynan had failed to recover against the operator of the CJ5, who specifically was then found (on a special question to the jury)...
