This appeal arises from a wrongful death action filed in Wayne County. The trial court granted defendants' motion for a change of venue based on a claim that venue was improperly laid.

Plaintiff's decedent, a resident of Macomb County, was under the care and treatment of defendants, who, for purposes of venue, reside in Oakland County. Deterioration of the condition of plaintiff's decedent eventually led to her hospitalization at Harper Hospital...
