In this action, defendant Arthur Sullivan is charged with attempting to escape from the Metropolitan Correctional Center ("MCC"). Defendant Shawn Sweeney is charged with aiding and assisting the attempted escape. The facts, as alleged by the government, are as follows: Ms. Sweeney arrived at the MCC to visit Mr. Sullivan.
