These three cases, consolidated by stipulation, come before the court on defendants' motions to dismiss on the ground of forum non conveniens. (CPLR 327.) Plaintiffs' choice of forum is being vigorously contested, probably not so much because defendants are unaccustomed to international travel, but because, as both sides know, the outcome of this procedural motion may well be dispositive...
