Plaintiff brought suit seeking damages for discrimination that allegedly occurred during the period of plaintiff's employment as a psychiatrist by the New York State Department of Mental Hygiene. Claims are alleged under 42 U.S.C. §§ 1981, 1983 (1976), 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq. (1976) ("Title VII") and various New York statutes. Defendants in this suit are Drs.
