When this case was first before the Court, the defendant Westinghouse was found to have unlawfully disqualified the plaintiff Christine Vaughn from her job as a sealex operator at defendant's Little Rock light-bulb plant, in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq.
