This case arose from an agreement for the sale and purchase (on credit) of a used semi-trailer. Appellant-purchaser brought suit against appellee-seller to recover damages and statutory penalties under the Texas Usury Laws, the Deceptive Trade Practices Act, the Certificate of Title Act, the Texas Debt Collection Act and the Federal and Texas Truth in Lending Acts.
