On November 22, 1974, plaintiffs filed an action seeking, in pertinent part, damages or specific performance of an agreement to convey certain property located in Lenawee County. Defendants counterclaimed on November 17, 1975, and sought recovery for the value of labor and materials used in the construction of a house located on this property.
