Defendants, Verna Bible, Robert Steven Meziere and Billy W. Moore, were convicted of possession of a narcotic drug (marijuana) with intent to distribute, in violation of R. S. 40:966. This court affirmed the defendants' convictions and sentences, finding valid the search of a suitcase (containing marijuana) found during the lawful search of the vehicle in which defendants were riding. State v. Bible, 389 So.2d 42
