Defendant was indicted by a grand jury in the Second District of Jones County for the unlawful sale of amphetamines in violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Law of 1971. The indictment also charged that defendant was an habitual offender under section 99-19-81 Mississippi Code Annotated (1972). The jury found defendant guilty of the sale of amphetamines.
