Defendant has appealed from the sentence imposed February 17, 1981. He was tried and convicted of possession and conspiracy to sell counterfeit gold British sovereigns with the intent to defraud in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 485 and § 371, and of conspiracy to distribute a controlled nonnarcotic substance in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 846.
