OPINION

ROBERTS, Judge.

This is an appeal from a conviction for murder. Punishment, enhanced by proof of two prior felony convictions as alleged in the indictment, was assessed at life imprisonment. We affirm.

In his first ground of error, appellant asserts that "[t]he trial court erred in denying the Gaskin Rule by overruling appellant's time and motion [sic] to examine witnesses' prior transcribed, recorded, and signed statement for purposes...
