This amended complaint alleges a violation of 42 U.S.C. § 1983 and jurisdiction is properly invoked under 28 U.S.C. § 1343(3). Plaintiff is a prisoner incarcerated in the Stateville Correctional Center in Joliet, Illinois (Stateville).
