On January 2, 1980, a search was made of a 1969 Mercedes Benz automobile and a residence at 808 Ayrshire Drive, Champaign, pursuant to a warrant. Randolph Williams, the owner of the automobile and residence, filed a motion to suppress certain items seized during the search.
