An Aroostook County jury, following a 2-day trial held on May 16 and 17, 1979, returned a verdict in favor of the plaintiff Doris Jackson against the corporate defendant, Frederick's Motor Inn (hereinafter referred to as Frederick's) in the total amount of $25,000.00, which would have been recoverable if the plaintiff had not been at fault, but reduced to the sum of $10,179.00, which the jury thought just and equitable having regard...
