A jury convicted appellant Wright of robbery, D.C. Code 1973, § 22-2901, and appellant Bynum of assault, D.C. Code 1973, § 22-504, in connection with a March 1978 incident in Northwest Washington.1 In seeking reversal of those convictions, each of the appellants presents two principal arguments.
