On August 18, 1975, the Federal Land Bank of Columbia filed separate complaints in the Superior Court of Gwinnett County seeking judgments upon which the foreclosure of two security deeds could be based. The suits were served on August 19, 1975. On September 18, 1975, defendant Cotton filed in the superior court a copy of a petition for removal of the actions in the federal court.
