Plaintiffs are the surviving parents and the surviving spouse of two deceased flight attendants who were killed when a Trans World Airline [hereinafter "TWA"] 707 jet crashed in the Ionian Sea en route to Rome, Italy. All plaintiffs are, and their decedents Isabella Masera and Angela Magnoni, were, citizens and residents of Italy. TWA is an American carrier.
