This matter was initiated by a complaint filed by plaintiffs-appellees, Jane B. Ward and The Ohio Citizens Trust Company, in the Toledo Municipal Court. The complaint alleged that defendants-appellants, Washington Distributors, Inc., and Gray Drug Stores, Inc., unlawfully remained in possession of premises located at 1207 North Reynolds Road in Toledo, Ohio, after their lease had expired.
