This is an appeal by the state from an order of the Dade County Circuit Court vacating a prior criminal conviction under Fla.R.Crim.P. 3.850. We have jurisdiction to entertain this appeal. § 924.07(2), Fla. Stat. (1979).

The central issue presented for review is whether the ineffective assistance of a defendant's privately retained counsel constitutes a valid ground for collateral attack of a criminal conviction under Fla.R.Crim.P. 3.850...
