Defendant, Robinson, was convicted under Count I of murder in the first degree; Count II of murder in the first degree; and Count III of aggravated battery with a firearm. He was sentenced to consecutive terms of life imprisonment upon each of Counts I and II and a term of not less than seven years nor more than fifteen years upon Count III.
