Tried by the court on two amended indictments charging possession of methaqualone and possession of cocaine, James Vincent Girardi was found guilty as charged. By judgment entered November 16, 1979, his punishment was fixed at confinement in the penitentiary for one year and five years, respectively, execution of the five-year sentence being suspended upon specified conditions.
