This appeal questions the applicability of the promissory estoppel doctrine to the statute of frauds which is in the Uniform Commercial Code. See § 554.2201, The Code 1977; Warder & Lee Elevator, Inc. v. Britten, 274 N.W.2d 339 (Iowa 1979). We had not yet decided Warder & Lee when the trial court gave judgment in this case.
