Appellant C. Carlton Smith, Jr. was convicted of violating the Arkansas Securities Act, Ark.Stat.Ann. Sec. 67-1235 (Repl.1966) and was fined $5,000. He has appealed and the case was assigned to the Arkansas Court of Appeals under Rule 29.3 of the Arkansas Supreme Court.
