HOWARD, Judge.

Appellant was convicted by a jury of grand theft and possession of marijuana. He was sentenced by the trial court to terms in prison on both convictions. Appellant contends the trial court erred (1) in refusing to grant him a continuance or in the alternative to permit him to reopen his case to secure testimony of a witness and (2) in not suppressing the evidence obtained in a search conducted pursuant to a search warrant.
